Throughout his career Philippe JANVIER has developed special attention to the culture of learning by ear.

This multi-instrumentalist, also a singer, will play bagpipes and bombards as his favorite means of expression. Recognized by all for his feeling and style, he knew how to share his vision of Breton traditional music.

From one band "Tammlès" to another "Kate Mé", or "Pennkazh" and "Alambig Electrik", he enjoyed meeting and working with sincere musicians passionate about Breton music, allowing him to enrich his personnal experience.

Philippe JANVIER has a State Diploma , he is a professor of Artistic Teaching, Head of the Traditional Music Department - Conservatoire de Lorient and Professor at the Quimperlé Music School.

You will go step by step to learn to play your first tunes with ease.

At the end of this course, you will be able to play 6 tunes and will acquire the basics of breathing.

Experienced bombarde with Philippe janvier

To perfect your Bombarde skills, Philippe Janvier suggests to constantly change the color of a tune by switching from a major to a minor mode or changing the degree.
